Punchd is shutting down and being removed from the App Store and Google Play on June 7th, 2013.

Will my Punchd cards still work?

Fear not! You have 6 months to collect punches and redeem rewards at your favorite Punchd merchants. However, on June 7th, 2013, the app will be discontinued. You won't be able to collect new punches and businesses will no longer honor your punches or give rewards.

Why are you closing Punchd?

Our goal is to simplify and improve the Google experience for you and devote more resources to high-impact products. Over a year ago, Punchd was acquired by Google, and since then the team has been working to integrate Punchd features and ideas into other Google products. Retiring Punchd is the next step towards our integration with Google.

What about if I do not use my punches by June 7th?

Punches will not be accessible nor redeemable after June 7th, 2013. Sorry!

Can I transfer my punches?

No. Punches are only valid in the Punchd app.

We are here to support our customers over the next 6 months, and will answer any questions you have, help with the transition off of Punchd. Please email us at help@getpunchd.com with any questions or concerns.

How do I explain this to my customers?

Google is working hard to build a better experience for both customers and business owners, and part of that is focusing attention and effort. Punchd ideas are being integrated into larger products and will provide a simpler, better experience for business owners and customers.

Can I tell my customers to transfer their punches to another app?

We can not provide assistance in migrating punches, but you can work with your customers to transfer their punches manually to another service (or paper cards).

What will happen to my customer and business data?

All customer and business data will be wiped clean from our servers on June 7th, 2013.

Can I still access my dashboard?

No. Dashboard access has been turned off to ease into the shutdown.
